Almost every time my rain gauge matches that of the Bureau of Meteorology in their recording of rainfall. PS: I didn't get my Beginners Guide ebook --- The Definitive Guide.

Works great as a rain gauge and for measuring indoor temperature, but to get accurate rain readings the sensor needs to be in the open. With the sensor in this position it can only measure the temperature in the sun, not in the shade and why I only gave it 3 stars.

Easy to set up. Clear console

I was so pleased with my rain gauge I bought one for three friends. It is simple to set up and one handy feature is to be able to check the outside temperature. The unit is extremely good value for the price and the measuring "bucket" is weatherproof through all seasons. Couldn't be happier with the product.

Low cost, simple to set up and to use, does what it says

With our first shower after some time we now know it works effectively and records the rain correctly. Other features - temp, time etc - add to the units appeal.

So impressed with the rain gauge that I have bought one for my nephew's Christmas present. The one I purchased a couple of years functions perfectly. and is a great aid in knowing when to water the garden. I think I need to purchase another one to replace the existing one although it is still working perfectly.

Everything seems to be working well but we have had only one small shower since it has been installed - it registered that well .
